Solar & Battery Sales Consultant (In-Home) Solar Surge Australia | East Coast Role Overview Solar Surge Australia is looking for confident, driven salespeople who want to build a long-term career in in-home solar and battery sales within a structured, high-performance environment. This role is designed for people who want to focus on presenting, building trust, and closing sales — not chasing leads, managing installs, or dealing with backend admin. We have built the infrastructure, support systems, appointment setting team, and backend operations most salespeople complain doesn’t exist. Previous sales experience is required. Direct solar experience is not essential for the right person. Paid Training Program All successful applicants will commence with a paid 2-week training and assessment program prior to progressing into the full consultant role. Training Includes: Full Solar Surge sales system training Structured in-home presentation training Solar and battery product education Roleplays and objection handling Compliance and professionalism standards Training Details $100 per training day attended Minimum attendance and competency standards required Appointment Environment All appointments are generated internally and quality-controlled before they reach you. Every appointment you attend: Has all decision-makers present Has confirmed appointment interest and qualification Meets minimum bill size and usage thresholds Is intended to be professionally presented and closed Core Responsibilities Conduct in-home solar and battery consultations Follow a proven, structured sales process Present system options clearly and confidently Build trust and rapport with homeowners Close sales during the initial appointment Accurately complete sales documentation and CRM updates Represent the Solar Surge Australia brand professionally What You Will NOT Be Responsible For Booking or confirming appointments Post-sale administration Managing installations Handling post-install customer issues Once a contract is signed, our operations and support team takes over completely.
