Key Responsibilities Conduct field and laboratory testing of soil Supervise and mentor junior technicians Ensure testing is carried out in accordance with relevant standards and specifications Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed records of results Liaise with engineers, project managers, and clients on testing requirements Maintain and calibrate testing equipment Uphold safety, quality, and environmental procedures at all times About You Proven experience in geotechnical/soil testing (5 years preferred) Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., AS1289, AS1141, AS17025) Strong knowledge of AS 1289.6.7.3 Soil strength and consolidation tests-Determination of permeability of a soil AS 1289.3.6.3 Determination of the particle size distribution of a soil — Standard method of fine analysis using an hydrometer.
