About the Role Covering Geelong and the surrounding regions, this role focuses heavily on construction setouts within the domestic, commercial, and civil markets. This is a hybrid role, meaning your time will be split between hands-on fieldwork and drafting/data processing. You can expect a "day in the life" to look roughly like [80%] field-based construction setouts and [20%] office computations, drafting and administration. Your key responsibilities will include: Performing construction setouts as your primary focus. Completing feature surveys, control surveys, as-built surveys, and post-pour surveys as required. Ensuring strict quality assurance and compliance with industry standards. Managing your workload effectively to ensure the timely delivery of results. Collaborating with the wider Willis team, with job allocations smoothly handled by management. Benefits on Offer Competitive Salary: $75,000-$85,000 Super, dependent on experience. Required Skills and Experience A minimum of 3 years' experience in land, civil, engineering, or commercial surveying [(Australian experience highly regarded)] . Proficiency in surveying equipment and software (e.g., AutoCAD, LisCad). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt to challenges on-site. Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and efficiently. Industry surveying qualifications are preferred but not essential (Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Degree). Valid Australian driver’s license and willingness to travel to various sites within the region. Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card).
