Volunteer Role: Walk for Prems Event Volunteer Organisation: Life’s Little Treasures Foundation (LLTF) Event: Walk for Prems Role Summary Walk for Prems Event Volunteers play a vital role in delivering LLTF’s flagship fundraising and awareness event. Volunteers help create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for participants while supporting the smooth running of the event across a variety of roles. This is a hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy community events and want to make a meaningful difference for families of premature and sick babies. Key Responsibilities Depending on the assigned role, volunteers may assist with: Event Setup & Pack Down Assisting with setting up marquees, signage, registration areas, and event spaces Supporting pack down and ensuring all equipment is safely stored and accounted for Participant Support & Engagement Welcoming participants and providing a friendly first point of contact Assisting with event registration and check-in Helping create a positive, inclusive and supportive atmosphere Course & Event Activities Acting as a course marshal to guide participants and ensure safety along the route Handing out water and supporting participants during the walk Assisting with crowd flow and general event coordination Fundraising & Merchandise Supporting merchandise sales and handling stock Assisting with donations and basic cash handling (where required) What We’re Looking For Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable individuals Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to take direction and help where needed Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced event environment * Passion for supporting families and making a difference Impact of the Role Walk for Prems is a critical national fundraising event supporting LLTF’s mission to provide connection, information, and practical support to families of premature and sick babies.
