An opportunity has arisen for a reliable, motivated individual to join our small but growing family owned business on a casual basis in a gardening and landscaping / handyman role. There is potential for this role to move to part-time/full-time for the right person. We pride ourselves on our welcoming, down-to-earth team culture, where we genuinely care about our people. You will have access to a company vehicle & all required tools for the job. Your role will cover a cluster of sites across Perth metro area. You will be responsible for proactive garden property management of commercial business sites including such tasks as: Gardening duties- weeding, hedging, pruning etc. Weed/Pest spraying (associated licences highly regarded) General grounds maintenance. Sweeping/blowing outdoor areas. Lawn care. Removal of green waste debris & transfer to approved waste station. Mulching & soft landscaping as required. Reticulation maintenance as required. Various other handyman type jobs as required. At times you may assist with clearing of units/sheds etc. Assist with bulk waste removal as required. To be considered for this role you will have: Initiative & ability to work well independently. Previous experience in commercial garden maintenance. Knowledge of garden care. Knowledge of garden machinery. Current manual vehicle licence & experience with towing trailers. Ability to use mobile technology to send photos of completed work & communicate with team. Valid working rights for Australia. Chainsaw tickets (desirable). Completed a qualification in horticulture (desirable). White card (desirable). Potential for role to grow & some other tasks as required, pending experience. We are seeking a well presented individual who exhibits pride in their work & is able to work well independently. Hours of work will vary throughout the working week, Monday to Friday. Salary TBC with applicant pending prior experience.
