About the Role FNET Distribution is a established logistics provider specialising in parcel delivery services in partnership with Australia Post. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Manager to oversee and optimise our vehicle operations to support efficient, reliable, and compliant delivery services. Key Responsibilities Oversee the overall management and performance of the vehicle fleet, ensuring all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and operating efficiently. Develop, implement, and continuously improve fleet management strategies, policies, and procedures to support operational efficiency and service delivery standards. Plan and coordinate fleet utilisation, route allocation, and resource deployment to meet delivery timeframes and contractual requirements. Monitor and manage fleet operating costs, including fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, and asset utilisation, and prepare budgets and cost forecasts. Analyse operational data and prepare regular performance reports, providing recommendations to senior management to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service outcomes. Ensure full compliance with road transport legislation, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies. Manage vehicle maintenance programs, including servicing, repairs, registrations, and inspections, to minimise downtime and extend asset lifespan. Lead, supervise, and support drivers and operational staff, including rostering, performance management, and training to ensure high standards of service and safety. Investigate incidents, accidents, and compliance breaches, and implement corrective and preventative measures. Liaise with internal stakeholders, external contractors, and Australia Post representatives to ensure smooth and consistent delivery operations. Contribute to strategic planning, including fleet expansion, asset acquisition, and process improvements to support business growth. About You AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field At least 3 years of proven experience in fleet management, transport, or logistics operations Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, compliance, and safety requirements. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience working in delivery, courier, or distribution environments is highly regarded. Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents will be preferred.
