Programmed Skilled Workforce is a leading provider of managed workforce and training services. We’re seeking a Yard Hand for our client in Outer Harbor SA. This hands-on role involves cleaning, washing, preparing, and spray painting shipping containers, along with maintaining the workshop and yard to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Wash and clean shipping containers, equipment, and workshop areas Assist with spray painting and surface preparation of containers Sanding, masking, grinding, and basic repair preparation work Operate pressure washers and workshop tools safely Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard and workshop Assist workshop staff and tradesmen as required Load, unload, and move materials around the yard Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times General labouring and yard duties Skills & Experience Previous experience in yard work, labouring, spray painting, or industrial washing preferred Ability to use hand and power tools safely Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and within a team Forklift licence advantageous but not essential White Card preferred
