Join St John of God Midland Private Hospital, opening in August, as a Health Information Services Officer and play a vital role in supporting high-quality patient care. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering a professional and efficient Health Information Service, including the retrieval, preparation and maintenance of accurate and confidential health records. You will contribute to ensuring compliance with legislative and organisational requirements, while supporting clinicians and staff through timely access to critical information. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new hospital from the ground up, helping to establish strong systems and processes that underpin safe, effective and patient-centred care. The successful candidates will demonstrate accurate and efficient keyboarding, computer and data entry skills, alongside well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities to effectively liaise with patients, the public and staff at all levels. You will show strong initiative, with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet required timeframes. A high level of attention to detail is essential, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve outcomes. Flexibility is important in this role, with the ability to work a range of shifts and additional hours as required. About the new Midland Private Hospital A brand-new purpose-built state-of-the-art facility, currently under construction, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus. A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region The hospital will feature: 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six-bed critical care/high dependency unit. 33-bed/chair short stay and day procedure unit Eight operating theatres.
