The culture is professional, approachable and development-focused, with a strong focus on mentoring, internal progression and long-term career growth About the role: Advise on liability, and approach to matters, with exposure to both straightforward and more complex claims. Work across matters involving orthopaedic injuries, psychological injury claims, neurological injuries, brain injury claims, catastrophic injuries and related workplace disputes. Draft advice, correspondence and court documents, liaise with clients and contribute to the progression of matters from start to resolution. Build strong technical skills in a team that gives junior lawyers meaningful responsibility, while still providing proper guidance and support. The ideal candidate: 1 years' PQE in workers’ compensation, defendant insurance or a closely related litigation practice. Experience advising on liability, quantum and litigation strategy. Strong drafting, research and communication skills, with good attention to detail. Commercial, proactive and personable, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues. An individual who is motivated to develop a long-term career in defendant insurance and workers compensation.
