This is an opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in keeping production and packaging equipment running safely and efficiently. You will support the safe and reliable operation of production and packaging machinery. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime, improve equipment performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment. Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs to reduce downtime. Install, assemble and maintain machinery, equipment and components. Conduct routine inspections and planned maintenance tasks. Support machinery upgrades, modifications and continuous improvement projects. Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety, food manufacturing and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections and spare parts usage. Work with production teams to resolve equipment and operational issues. About You Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Fitter or Mechanical Fitter. Experience in FMCG, manufacturing or production environments. Strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience with production and packaging machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills. Safety-focused with a proactive, hands-on approach. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
