As the business continues to strengthen its operations and reputation within the local hospitality industry, Kickin’Inn is seeking a Skilled and Experienced Venue Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead the team, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and customer service. Salary Range : $75,000 - $80,000AUD Location : 1117 Nepean Hwy, Highett VIC 3190, Australia Responsibilities: Overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring smooth coordination across front-of-house and kitchen operations. Leading, supervising, and supporting restaurant staff, including recruitment, training, rostering, performance management, and team development. Maintaining high standards of customer service, food quality, venue presentation, and overall guest experience in line with company standards. Monitoring service efficiency during busy operational periods and resolving customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner. Coordinating with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation, menu execution, and timely service delivery. Managing operational costs including labour, stock, food costs, and inventory control to support profitability and minimise wastage. Assisting in planning and implementing promotional activities, special events, functions, and business development initiatives to increase customer engagement and venue revenue. Ensuring compliance with food safety, liquor licensing, workplace health and safety (WHS), hygiene, and hospitality regulations at all times. Maintaining accurate operational records including sales reporting, stock levels, staff attendance, and compliance documentation. Liaising with suppliers and contractors to maintain stock availability, venue maintenance, and operational efficiency. Qualifications : Proven experience in hospitality or venue management within a busy restaurant or similar environment. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop front-of-house teams. Demonstrated knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and OH&S compliance in hospitality. Ability to resolve customer issues professionally and maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction.
