Transdev Queensland is seeking a permanent, full-time Network Officer to commence on Monday, 17 August 2026 . Our Network Officers provide a high-quality customer experience in educating our customers on bus network services, ticketing products and systems, while also addressing fare evasion and anti-social behaviour across the Translink bus, Southern Moreton Bay Islands ferry and Mt Gravatt bus networks. This position plays a critical front-line role for the provision of revenue protection, safety and security of our customers and drivers. What you’ll do • Travel on bus and ferry services around the Redlands Coast and surrounding suburbs • Provide a positive public transport experience to customers • Enhance passenger and driver security by maintaining a visible presence on board bus and ferry services and at bus stations and interchanges • Protect revenue by performing revenue protection and compliance activities • Issue Penalty Infringement and Warning Notices • Use the Fare Evasion Information Management System (FEIMS) to report on operational activities • Participate in community engagement programs or activities to proactively promote positive behaviour when travelling on a public passenger transport network And in addition, you will be required to • Complete Authorised Persons training including a mentoring program • Maintain accreditation as an Authorised Person under section 111(2) of the Transport Operations (Passenger Transport) Act 1994 or any subsequent Act • Be available to work shifts and dynamic rosters including weekends as required What you bring • Full Australian working rights (an Australian citizen or permanent resident) • Excellent customer service skills • Well-developed communication and written skills • The ability to make ethical, balanced, fair, and impartial decisions while applying learnt theory and relevant legislation • The ability to remain calm and respond appropriately exercising good judgement while working in high pressured environments • Experience or the ability to use various systems and devices to perform revenue protection duties, including ticket inspection and fare evasion • The ability to work closely within a small operational team and with a partner, with limited supervision Diversity, equity, and inclusion at our core We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
