Transdev Queensland is currently looking for two permanent, full-time Operations Control Centre Operators to join our Operations team at our depot located in Capalaba. What you’ll do • Manage network disruptions, Bus Driver roster changes, incidents and vehicle breakdowns • Provide information to our Bus Drivers about service conditions and problems on the network • Provide timely support in managing emergencies and incidents • Ensure bus services are delivered in accordance with the network service plan • Update the relevant event logs if there is late running, a cancelled service or motor vehicle accident • Ensure compliance with reportable incidents • Understand the fatigue requirements of the National Heavy Vehicle Regulations What you bring • Good IT skills and the ability to navigate systems • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly face to face and over the radio to support our Bus Drivers • The ability to work effectively autonomously and part of a team • A commitment to safety and role modelling “Safety first” in everything you do • A high level of resilience and patience to work through various issues • The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage conflicting priorities • A sound knowledge of the Redlands network and rail replacement routes • An eye for detail, and well-developed problem-solving skills • Ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner • Availability to work a roster including weekends as required • Full Australian working rights (an Australian citizen or permanent resident) Diversity, equity, and inclusion at our core We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
