Apply your broad construction trade knowledge, resourcefulness, and initiative, taking responsibility for coordinating site teams and sub-contractors across mid-rise multi-storey construction to around 5–6 storeys. You will engage with architects, consultants and engineers to address technical requirements and attend to the logistical challenges of premium quality landmark full-build and fit-out residential development construction projects. THE POSITION The Site Manager will have overall project site control, ensuring that site procedures and subcontract work are completed in accordance with contract specifications and recognised quality standards. You will be assigned significant autonomy to guide on-site activities and oversight all elements of the build across structure, facade, interiors and finishes. This will include planning daily work activities to maintain construction schedules, coordinate day-to-day site management, provide technical advice, work instructions and direction to site teams and subcontractors. THE PERSON This influential appointment will suit individuals with local Commercial Building and Construction Site Management, Foreman or Site Supervisory experience. Suitable candidates are likely to have extensive local building experience on mid-rise projects, broad trade knowledge, combined with practical site management experience on commercial building or residential development projects. Your practical input into construction methodology and problem resolution to manage quality, safety, technical and environmental compliance will be highly regarded.
