Underground Cable Bolters $80.00ph - $100.00ph. Permanent employment offered after 4 months Roster: 2:2 roster - 1 week Night Shift then 1 week Day Shift. Underground Cable Bolter plays a crucial role in ensuring the stability and safety of underground structures. This vital position involves installing and maintaining roof and wall support systems, which are essential for preventing collapses and ensuring the secure and efficient operation of mining sites. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain bolting machinery Sandvik DS421 /DS422i jumbos Install roof bolts and other support systems in underground environments Conduct regular inspections of rock support systems Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations Assist in the development of rock support plans Document and report any issues with the support systems Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools Collaborate with engineers and other workers to assess rock stability Qualification & Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience in Cable bolting: Manual C Class Driver’s Licence National Police Clearance HR Licence Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screen Dangerous Goods Security Card Apply First Aid / Senior First Aid (advantageous) Underground mining experience Experience operating cable bolters such as Sandvik DS421/DS422i To Apply: If you are interested and would like to be considered for any of the above positions, please forward an updated current CV to techforce.com.au or call the office on (08) 6363 7 Note, your CV should include what sites you are inducted for, and your current list of valid tickets with detailed experience.
