MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - THE TAX FACTOR 2 PTY LTD t/a THE TAX FACTOR An opportunity has opened for a Management Accountant to join The Tax Factor, which is a small but rapidly expanding accountancy firm. The successful applicant will be qualified and possess excellent communication and soft skills, for this is a client-facing role. Your primary responsibilities will include: Reporting to the CEO and CFO, you will work as a Management Accountant in The Tax Factor, Parramatta office, being responsible for all financial reporting, analysis and accounting. Monthly and ad-hoc reporting against Budget / Forecast. Attend month end review meetings to provide feedback on the regional financial performance and insight on performance against individual budgets/ forecasts. Meet deadlines related to financial reporting and provide assurance about the accuracy of data in financial reports · Assist the management with a high-profile client base. Co-ordinate the completion and compliance of the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process. Providing guidance, leadership and mentoring of Junior accountants. Location: Suite 4, Ground Floor, 80 George St, Parramatta, NSW 2150 Required qualification & skills: · To be successful in this role, you will have or demonstrate Qualifications in Accounting, Finance and/or Business Finance/ Management 3 - 5 years’ experience working as a Financial or Management Accountant: with financial oversight and management reporting responsibility Experience in operations support and transitional piece within high volume: month-end reporting Experience in a Construction industry &/ services experiences beneficial, however not essential Strong excel skills: necessary for forecast revisions with the team Proven experience working with budgets, cash reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable and profit / loss reports Experience in the use of accounting software systems such as Sage Hadisoft (compulsory), SageOne, Xero, Myob, Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
