The College’s Infrastructure Team plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the College, ensuring that our facilities and environment are safe, functional and well-presented for students, staff and visitors. About the role The College is seeking a reliable and motivated Labourer to join our Infrastructure team on a full-time basis (38 hours per week). The role will operate during student term time and throughout the school holidays. As part of a collaborative and team-oriented environment, the Labourer works closely with Infrastructure Team members to complete daily and scheduled tasks. The role requires the ability to follow direction, work efficiently and contribute positively to a team that takes pride in delivering a high-quality service to the College. Key responsibilities include: Undertaking general labouring duties including manual handling, lifting and moving materials, furniture and equipment Assisting with site preparation and clean-up for maintenance and operational activities Supporting waste management processes, including collection and disposal across campus Assisting with event set-ups and pack-downs Receiving, transporting and distributing deliveries across both campuses Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas Attending and contributing to Toolbox Talks and team meetings This role operates in a live school environment and requires a respectful, cooperative and approachable manner when working around students, staff and visitors. About you You will be a dependable and team-oriented individual who takes pride in your work and contributes positively to the team environment. You will hold a Class C Driver’s Licence (essential) and ideally a construction industry white card. You will bring: Experience in a labouring or a physically active role A strong work ethic and willingness to undertake hands-on tasks The ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision A collaborative approach and the ability to build respectful working relationships Strong awareness of safety and ability to work effectively in a live school environment Incumbents will be required to attain and maintain a valid Working with Children Check, RRHAN-EC (Masterclass) and First Aid certification.
