The Opportunity At CliniKids, part of The Kids Research Institute Australia, we combine world-class research with hands-on clinical practice to create meaningful outcomes for children with autism and developmental differences. As an early intervention service supporting children from 6 months to 9 years, you’ll work in purpose-built, neurodiverse-friendly spaces alongside a collaborative multidisciplinary team, with genuinely manageable clinical workloads averaging around four clients per day — giving you the time and support to provide high-quality, evidence-based care without burnout. We’re seeking an Occupational Therapist to join us in a role focused on real impact, strong team support, and ongoing clinical development, including training in evidence-based therapy approaches. Through collaboration with a range of clinicians you will: Deliver evidence-based, family-centred occupational therapy services (individual and group). Provide manualised interventions (e.g., ESDM) as selected by CliniKids. Contribute to clinical resources and participate in community engagement. Comply with Medicare, NDIS, and other funder requirements. Support research initiatives and participate in forums and team learning. Work in a way that safeguards our clients and protects their rights at all times. Located across both our Subiaco and Joondalup offices, this position will be offered on a full-time, ongoing basis. Part-time will be considered for the right applicant. About You This position would suit someone who possesses highly developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills, has an enquiring dynamic approach to therapy and is inspired by new challenges. A dynamic, enquiry-based approach to therapy. Understanding of autism and developmental delays. Commitment to evidence-based practice and innovation. Commitment to safeguarding and upholding the rights of all clients. Eligible for a Medicare provider number and NDIA registration. Current APRAH registration. Valid driver’s licence and access to a car when required. Specific Requirements: Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, including autism early intervention. Familiarity with National Guidelines for supporting autistic children in Australia.
