About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Organisational Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team in Toowong. This individual contributor role reports directly to the Head of Culture & Leadership and is pivotal in driving our 'High Performance with High Integrity' culture. You will leverage deep expertise, data-driven insights, and strong stakeholder relationships to diagnose, recommend, and implement impactful organisational development solutions. Visit autogeneral.com.au to find out more. What you'll be doing As our Organisational Development Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of driving organisational culture and recognition initiatives. You’ll own and manage key programs, develop scalable solutions, and provide expert advice to leaders and P&C Business Partners. Your key accountabilities will include: Owning and managing Auto & General’s recognition platform, MySpark, including designing a new enterprise-wide employee recognition program. Collaborating with the Head of Culture & Leadership and P&C Business Partners to facilitate the development of scalable solutions that support critical capabilities and behaviours. Leading or significantly contributing to the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of enterprise-wide recognition, culture, engagement, performance, and employee experience programs aligned with strategic objectives. Developing and maintaining high-quality resources, including guides, toolkits, and digital materials, to strengthen capability across the organisation. Providing expert organisational development advice and guidance to leaders and P&C Business Partners. Analysing performance and workforce data to identify trends, training needs, and insights, translating findings into meaningful reporting for evidence-based recommendations. Building strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor, and partnering with teams across the business to bring the A&G culture to life. Supporting the Head of Culture & Leadership across the culture and engagement, performance, and leadership portfolio as required to meet operational needs. What experience you’ll bring To thrive in this critical role, you'll need a breadth of experience in organisational development initiatives and a passion for improving organisational culture through recognition and employee experience. You’ll also bring: A relevant degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business, Psychology), and/or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated success and experience in designing and delivering organisational development solutions with a strong focus on organisational culture and recognition. Experience in high-growth and/or fast-paced business environments (financial services or professional services favourable), adeptly navigating and influencing complex stakeholder groups. Ability to think strategically, analyse complex situations and data, and develop creative, evidence-based solutions and recommendations. Proven ability to work autonomously to project manage end-to-end initiatives to scope, time, and budget, including change management elements. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and facilitate trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to tailor messages for diverse audiences. Experience coaching and advising senior leaders and effectively working with complex stakeholder groups.
