Step into an immediate start HR Advisor role Short-term opportunity with potential to go permanent True generalist exposure across ER HR admin Support a fast-paced, blue-collar workforce environment The opportunity We’re partnering with a well-established construction firm to find an experienced People & Culture Administrator / Advisor to support their Brisbane head office team in Hendra. This role has come about due to a high-volume HR inbox and an increase in white-collar hiring support needs. You'll play a critical role in keeping P&C operations running smoothly jumping into a mix of administrative, advisory, and employee relations tasks. This is a 3 month temp assignment initially, with the potential to transition to permanent, making it a great foot in the door for someone looking to step into a broader HR generalist role. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and responding to a high-volume P&C inbox Coordinating onboarding, probation, and offboarding processes Preparing HR documentation including contracts, variations, letters, and position descriptions Processing employee changes such as pay variations, training updates, and employment changes Reviewing and filing employee medical documentation within HR systems Providing support across employee relations matters, including minor grievances and performance issues Escalating complex ER matters to senior P&C leaders Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems Supporting ongoing HR projects and process improvements About you You’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operational HR environment and enjoys balancing admin with advisory support. You will bring: Previous experience in a P&C/HR Admin or Advisor role (3 years ideal) Blue-collar workforce experience (essential) Exposure to employee relations (ER), with confidence managing minor matters Strong HR administration skills and high attention to detail Working knowledge of employment legislation, Awards, and industrial frameworks Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong stakeholder communication skills We're Talentpath - nice to meet you.
