Position: Architectural Draftsperson Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $76,516.00 plus superannuation per annum Location: Collingwood VIC 3066 Our client is seeking an Architectural Draftsperson to join their team located in Collingwood, Victoria. As an Architectural Draftsperson you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of architectural documentation and drawings, design work, and project coordination for residential, commercial, and hospitality developments. The nominated person would be involved in assisting the preparation and delivery of a range of projects and across all phases of design and delivery, from concept design through to construction documentation. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Attend site visits and undertake site analysis and photographic surveys Presentation work for feasibility, concept, Town Planning and other design related meetings and presentations Assist in the preparation and presentation of design concepts, town planning applications, and construction documentation. Liaise with relevant consultants, engineers, builders, and clients and stakeholders during various project phases Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, shadow studies and other relevant documentation using Revit Assist in other 3D work including Sketchup modelling, massings and concepts Review and understand relevant Planning Controls and BADS requirements and their application to projects Implement under supervision relevant building codes, and technical standards relevant to project delivery Support project coordination activities including document control, and scheduling Assist in preparation of drawings and documentation that comply with relevant Australian Standards and building codes Participate in ongoing professional development and software training. Skills and Experience Relevant Architectural or Associated Degree Experience preparing architectural drafting and construction documentation. At least one (1) year of work experience in a similar position Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion Skilled in creating diagrams, renders and other visual content Experienced in feasibilities and early phase development appraisals Highly proficient in Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop Knowledge of Australian building codes and planning processes. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a project team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in Spanish due to team make-up and previous project and exhibition work in Spain and Italy There may be also assign you other duties, where reasonable for your position, qualifications, training and experience.
