Position: Chef Position Type : Full-Time Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation per annum Location: Henley Beach SA 5022 Business Name : Seamores Restaurant Our client Seamore's Restaurant is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join their team on a full-time basis. Duties and Responsibilities: ·Plan menus in consultation with management ·Estimate food and labour costs and order food supplies ·Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation ·Prepare and cook food in accordance with menu requirements ·Discuss food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen and waiting staff ·Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on cooking procedures ·Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations ·Select, train, and supervise kitchen staff as required ·Freeze and preserve foods where necessary. Skills and Experience Required: ·Relevant trade qualifications: -Certificate III and/or IV in Commercial Cookery -Diploma of Hospitality Management (preferred) ·Minimum three (3) years of relevant work experience as a Chef ·Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations ·Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and public holidays.
