In this fast-paced kitchen, you’ll prepare a diverse range of dishes, maintaining high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. You’ll be involved in all aspects of kitchen operations, from prep and cooking to training junior staff and supporting menu innovation. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items to the restaurant’s high standards. Maintain consistency in flavor, presentation, and timing, even during busy service. Ensure kitchen hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness. Manage prep work, stock rotation, portion control, and waste reduction. Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver smooth service and excellent guest experience. Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal specials. Support and guide junior kitchen staff as needed. Skills & Experience Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). Minimum 1 year experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen. Ability to work with diverse cooking styles and dishes. Strong organizational and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain consistency under pressure. Passion for bold, creative flavors.
