Description About the role We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Delivery Enablement to play a critical leadership and integration role across Technology delivery and operations within our Retirement Solutions business. This role is accountable for ensuring that both change‑the‑business (CTB) and run‑the‑business (RTB) work across an assigned technology stream is well‑planned, appropriately governed, resourced, and delivered in line with enterprise strategy, risk controls, and service expectations. Working in close partnership with Platform Services Owners, Technology leaders, and senior business stakeholders, you will provide end‑to‑end oversight of portfolio planning, delivery governance, resource allocation, release management, and operational stability—ensuring predictable, high‑quality outcomes for the business and our customers. This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of strategy, platform ownership, engineering delivery, and business demand, requiring strong judgement, influence, and systems‑level thinking. What you’ll be responsible for Strategic delivery leadership Lead the intake, assessment, prioritisation, and scheduling of change demand across your technology stream Drive integrated portfolio and operational planning cycles, balancing strategic priorities with platform capacity and operational resilience Establish and maintain clear change governance, ensuring risks, dependencies, impacts, and timelines are transparent and well‑managed Support business case development, benefits tracking, and investment planning Technology delivery & operational oversight Ensure BAU operations, maintenance, and service improvements are planned, resourced, and executed effectively Maintain visibility of operational health, capacity constraints, performance indicators, and risks Partner with Platform Services Owners to ensure operational readiness for releases, upgrades, and service changes Oversee release and change governance to minimise service disruption and maintain compliance Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, reporting, dashboards, and insights Resource & portfolio management Oversee allocation of shared delivery capacity across change and run initiatives Monitor resource utilisation, forecasting, and demand to ensure sustainable workloads Identify and escalate capacity risks, resourcing gaps, and prioritisation conflicts Maintain an integrated delivery schedule across platforms, products, and services Risk, compliance & resilience Ensure delivery and operational practices comply with risk, audit, security, and regulatory requirements Maintain visibility of technology risks and ensure mitigation actions are prioritised and completed Support internal and external audits, remediation activity, and operational resilience requirements People leadership Build capability across delivery management, change governance, planning, and stakeholder engagement Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, innovation, and customer focus Role‑model MUFG values, fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high‑performance environment Coach and mentor team members to achieve both business outcomes and career growth Stakeholder engagement Act as a key interface between Technology, Operations, Transformation, and the business Provide clear, consistent communication on delivery commitments, progress, risks, and changes Build strong relationships with senior business leaders, operations, risk, finance, and transformation partners Ensure business strategy, user feedback, and customer expectations inform platform priorities What you’ll bring Essential experience Significant experience in technology delivery, portfolio management, operational planning, or change governance within complex environments Strong understanding of Agile, hybrid delivery models, service operations, and release/change management Proven ability to manage multi‑team dependencies, competing priorities, and shared resource models Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior technology and business leaders High analytical capability with the ability to identify risks, interpret data, and drive proactive decisions Experience working in regulated environments with material risk, cyber, and compliance obligations Demonstrated people leadership experience and a track record of delivery excellence Desirable Certifications in Agile, SAFe, ITIL, Project/Program Management, or Service Management Experience in financial services, pensions, or large‑scale platform environments Some of our Employment Benefits Flexible and Hybrid Working – enabling our employees to work in the office and at home Purchased Leave, Parental Leave, Volunteer Leave, Gender transition leave, Well-being leave Employee Recognition Program - to recognise people who are demonstrating our values and Company purpose.
