Haulotte designs, manufactures and services a wide range of products, including Elevated Work Platform machines and telehandlers. We are currently recruiting for a new Mobile Plant Apprentice based in Wetherill Park , NSW. As an apprentice with Haulotte you will gain valuable skills and experience in the industry. At the Wetherill Park service facility you will be learning from skilled tradespeople on a variety of lifting equipment and how to perform routine and in-depth 10 year services on all types of access equipment. Job Details You will undertake scheduled maintenance and repairs. In addition to learning the trade at TAFE, you will benefit from dedicated in-house training delivered by experts in state-of-the-art lifting equipment that will enhance your skills and employability. Assist technicians with servicing, maintenance, and repair of EWP equipment Learn to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on access equipment Support repairs, replacements, and troubleshooting in workshop and on-site Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and technical specifications Keep accurate service records and job documentation Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times Use tools, diagnostic equipment, and lifting devices safely Maintain a clean and organised workshop Help with equipment preparation and pre-delivery inspections Follow workplace health and safety requirements Work collaboratively with team members across departments Participate in training to build skills and knowledge Develop problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset Maintain a professional approach with customers and stakeholders Benefits Full-time 4-year contract, including paid annual and personal leave Complete a nationally accredited qualification in AUR31220 Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology Above award wages, paid weekly Access to 1:1 mentoring and learning from experienced tradespeople About You Respectful with strong communication and interpersonal skills Enjoy problem-solving with a mechanical aptitude Good attention to detail and understanding of tools Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious Holds a current driver’s licence with reliable transport Able to pass random drug and alcohol testing Forklift, Dogging, or EWP licences are advantageous Experience with tools, equipment, or machinery is beneficial Basic mechanical knowledge (school, hobbies, or work) preferred Physically capable with outdoor work experience beneficial Strong safety awareness and understanding of hazards Basic computer skills Organised and practical with strong problem-solving ability Apply
