Maintenance Fitter – FMCG Manufacturing Up to $54phr OT Super Monday to Friday Days or Permanent Night Shift Wetherill Park We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established FMCG manufacturing company operating a fast-paced, automated production facility. Available Shifts Day Shift: Monday to Friday (6am - 2pm) Permanent Nights: Sunday to Thursday (10pm – 6am) 30% shift loading Salary Up to $54 per hour Overtime Super Night shift: 30% shift loading The Role Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include: Preventative and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging machinery Fault finding and repair of mechanical systems Maintenance of conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes and processing equipment Supporting production to minimise downtime and maintain output Assisting with equipment upgrades, installations and shutdown work Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures About You Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner Experience within FMCG, food, packaging or automated manufacturing environments preferred Strong mechanical fault-finding ability Experience working on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and production equipment Ability to work both independently and within a maintenance team Strong focus on safety and preventative maintenance This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable manufacturing business offering competitive pay, overtime opportunities and long-term career stability .
