Our client is a well-established not-for-profit community housing organisation based in north Brisbane. With a 50% portfolio growth forecast over the next three years and a strong government-backed development pipeline, the organisation is in a strong and sustained period of growth. This role will see you managing an affordable housing portfolio of around 61-70 properties in north Brisbane, transitioning fully to affordable housing in the coming months. The compliance and documentation requirements closely mirror NRAS, so experience in that space is a real advantage. Role Responsibilities Managing a tenancy portfolio end to end in compliance with the Residential Tenancies and Rooming Accommodation Act 2008, across crisis, transitional, long term social and affordable housing programs Delivering core tenancy management functions including inspections, tenancy planning, property care, arrears management, antisocial behaviour and community connection Developing and reviewing tenancy plans for transitional housing tenants to support progression through the housing continuum Managing headlease properties including acquisition, handback, owner and agent negotiations and ongoing compliance Managing complex tenancy matters including enforcement actions and QCAT representation Supporting vacancy management and allocations in collaboration with Assets and Allocation Officers, including entry and exit inspections and letting strategies Building and maintaining relationships with government agencies, support services, real estate agents and community organisations Contributing to community cohesion through active tenant engagement and capturing the voice of the customer in service delivery Maintaining accurate records across IT platforms and reporting on performance outcomes in line with regulatory and contractual obligations Contributing to organisational growth through identifying partnership and funding opportunities and supporting new housing program readiness About You Residential or commercial property management background with solid tenancy and compliance knowledge NRAS or affordable housing exposure highly regarded Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage your own portfolio autonomously Confident managing documentation, evidence and eligibility processes to a high standard Genuinely care about the people you work with and the outcomes you deliver Collaborative team player who can work independently when needed What is on offer NFP salary packaging One day WFH per week Nine-day fortnight option Pool vehicle Structured organisation with genuine multi-layered career pathways and internal progression opportunities Be part of an organisation forecast to grow 50% over the next three years Interested?
