We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Freight Loader / Forklift Operator to join our clients team. This casual role with FT hours involves the efficient loading and unloading of flat bead trucks up to B-double trailers ensuring freight is handled accurately and in line with safety and operational standards. General yard forklift operation required to move stock in and out of freight yeard. Responsibilities Load and unload B-double trailers using forklifts in a safe and efficient manner Ensure correct placement and securement of freight to prevent damage during transit Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any faults or maintenance issues Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all WHS policies and procedures Accurately scan, sort, and stage freight as required Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets Assist in general yard forklift operation Your Profile Proven experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced freight or logistics environment Demonstrated experience loading and unloading trucks up to B-double trailers Valid forklift licence (LF required) Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Availability to work rotating shift patterns, Monday to Friday Strong commitment to safety and teamwork Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Freight Loader who values safety and efficiency in a dynamic logistics environment.
