Mental Health Clinician Full-time or Part-time Location: Rockhampton or Bundaberg Salary: ~ $120,000 p.a. DOE Super Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is partnering with a Medicare Mental Health Centre to support the delivery of free, walk-in mental health support as part of Australia’s reformed mental health system. No referral or appointment is required. About the Role Responsibilities include: Engaging with participants to provide personalised counselling, therapy, and brief therapeutic interventions Conducting intake assessments and developing tailored counselling plans in collaboration with participants and their families Advocating for participants and coordinating care with clinicians, peer lived experience workers, and other stakeholders Monitoring and managing participant mental health and wellbeing in collaboration with health professionals Participating in clinical meetings, case discussions, training, and professional development activities Working within a multidisciplinary team including peer lived experience workers and other mental health clinicians About You Qualification in Psychology, Social Worker (AASW mental health accreditation highly regarded) or related field Current AHPRA registration or relevant professional membership Strong communication and collaborative practice skillsT The Offer Supportive environment including Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and wellbeing initiatives We offer up to $2,000 in professional development allowance and up to 2 days of professional development leave A low ratio of clinicians to team leaders allowing for extensive clinical supervision and operational support.
