Accounts Administrator Milestone IT is currently partnering with a prominent healthcare client based in Melbourne CBD to recruit a detail-oriented Accounts Administrator . While this role supports general administration, its primary focus is on robust accounting operations , specifically managing high-volume accounts payable and receivable functions. The Role: As an Accounts Administrator, you will be a key member of the finance team, ensuring financial integrity and operational efficiency. You will work closely with the Financial Controller to manage complex invoice cycles and maintain accurate financial records for our healthcare services. Key Responsibilities Invoice Processing: Manage high-volume purchase order-driven processes, including three-way matching of invoices, POs, and debit notes. Accounts Receivable & Payable: Execute end-to-end AP/AR functions, including reconciliation of supplier statements and inputting data into relevant finance systems. Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports while assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. Audit & Compliance: Assist with audits and compliance-related tasks to ensure all financial activities meet industry regulatory standards. Process Improvement: Collaborate with senior management to identify financial process efficiencies and streamline operations. Requirements Experience: 4 years of experience in project administration and accounting operations within complex industries. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in ERP systems such as SAP or Pronto Xi , and accounting software including XERO, MYOB, or QuickBooks . Educational Background: An Advanced Diploma of Business Management/Accounting or similar accreditation Skills: Strong financial acumen with a proven history of reducing process errors through strategic planning.
