Identity Engineers (Okta to Entra ID Migration) Milestone IT is proud to partner with a leading enterprise client currently embarking on a major digital transformation. We are looking for two experienced Identity Engineers to lead the charge on a high-visibility migration from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID . This is a pure delivery role. If you enjoy the "nuts and bolts" of identity—moving workloads, reconfiguring SSO, and ensuring a seamless cutover for thousands of users—we want to hear from you. The Role: Working within a dedicated project stream, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of the identity transition. Your mission is to move applications, policies, and users from Okta to Entra ID with zero downtime and maximum security. Key Responsibilities Migration Execution: Execute technical runbooks to transition users, groups, and complex workloads to Entra ID. SSO & App Integration: Reconfigure SAML, OIDC, and OAuth integrations for SaaS and internal applications. Security Configuration: Rebuild Conditional Access policies, MFA, and RBAC frameworks within the Entra environment. Hybrid Identity: Manage directory synchronization (Entra Connect) and integrate with on-prem Active Directory. Testing & Troubleshooting: Lead SIT/UAT support and provide rapid remediation during cutover phases. Documentation: Deliver high-quality technical runbooks and handover guides for the permanent BAU teams. Technical Requirements To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate "hands-on" expertise in: The Big Two: Deep, practical experience in both Okta and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) . Migration Pedigree: A proven track record of delivering at least one large-scale IAM migration project. Protocols: Advanced knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect. Modern Auth: Expertise in Conditional Access, Passwordless authentication, and Zero Trust principles. Directory Services: Strong command of Active Directory and hybrid identity architecture. Highly Regarded Automation: Ability to use PowerShell or Graph API to automate migration tasks. Legacy Exit: Experience decommissioning legacy identity platforms and cleaning up "technical debt."
