Selection Criteria Considerable knowledge and experience in the field of terrestrial fauna conservation related to threatened species and land management (Essential), and experience in preparation and evaluation of fauna recovery programs (Desirable). High-level ability to provide scientific advice to inform and guide fauna conservation and wildlife management to achieve biodiversity conservation goals (Essential) and in the context of relevant environmental legislation and policy (Desirable). High level verbal written communication skills to prepare reports, policy, and develop fauna recovery programs and adapt communication to a range of audiences. Well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills, with experience in managing a team, empowering staff to and achieve agreed priorities, and build relationships to deliver outcomes.
