About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Building Engineer to support the delivery and ongoing management of critical infrastructure within a defence environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-security facilities and contribute to nationally significant projects. Security Clearance Requirement (Critical) This role is subject to strict security requirements: All applicants MUST be eligible to obtain a Baseline security clearance MUST be Australian citizens Candidates who do not meet this requirement will not be considered Key Responsibilities Contribute to the engineering oversight of a new-build facility, ensuring design intent is achieved during construction Support c onstruction phase activities, including site inspections, quality assurance, and compliance checks Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery Oversee and support testing and commissioning of building systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and controls) Ensure all systems are delivered in line with defence standards, codes, and operational requirements Assist in the development of handover documentation, asset registers, and maintenance strategies Facilitate the smooth transition from the construction to the operational phase Why Join?
