Why This Role Matters The Government’s primary financial management system Masterpiece, used by most SA Government agencies excluding SA Health, is over 30 years old and nearing the end of its service life. The Finance Reform Program is leading a major initiative to replace it with Oracle and implement best practice processes. This transformation will significantly change how finance functions are performed across agencies and affect a wide range of stakeholders, including finance, ICT, and operations teams. About the Opportunity As a Program Manager, you’ll play a key role in leading a complex, high impact reform program that will transform how government finance works across South Australia. In this role, you will: Lead and maintain the integrated program schedule across multiple agencies and workstreams. Provide oversight of dependencies, risks and delivery impacts to protect program outcomes. Lead program leads and governance groups with clear, accurate program reporting and expert advice. Drive delivery discipline and accountability across the program. Lead procurement and sourcing activities aligned to government frameworks. Strengthen program governance to support successful implementation. Remuneration ASO8 ($125,649 – $130,392 p.a.) 12% Superannuation About You You will succeed in this role if you have: Proven experience managing large, complex or transformational programs. Strong capability in program scheduling, dependency management and reporting. The ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and governance forums. Experience leading procurement or commercial activities in large-scale ICT projects and complex settings. Clear, confident communication skills and a focus on delivery outcomes. Proven experience in project management and governance.
