In this role you will be supporting the directors and accounting team to deliver a seamless and professional experience to our clients. The Role – What You'll Be Doing Greet and welcome clients upon arrival. Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable Manage a busy switchboard and direct client queries to appropriate staff Manage the booking of client appointments and board room access Process daily EFTPOS payments and receipt banking Manage debtor follow up Oversee and order office stationery and kitchen essentials General housekeeping duties Practice & Workflow Management Manage end-of-job process including preparing client letters, collating tax returns and financial statements Lodgement of tax returns and BAS's including management of lodgement deadlines. Participate in internal business development projects and help in driving procedural change in the office Accounting Software & Database Administration Maintain practice management and client databases Manage onboarding of new clients across MYOB AE, ATO and ASIC Maintain client files and prepare ATO prefill reports ATO Liaison & Compliance Manage all inbound ATO mail via ATOmate Management of ATO matters and associated phone calls ASIC Administration & Compliance Manage annual ASIC review process using CAS360 and Fusesign Prepare and lodge ASIC forms to records company changes Debtor follow up to ensure ASIC fees are paid on time Company & Trust Establishment Prepare company and trust establishment documentation using Cleardocs Applying for ABN, TFN and other tax registrations with the ATO Manage and oversee the execution process with clients through to completion About You – Do You Have What It Takes? Highly Regarded Proven experience in an accounting firm administration role, with strong ATO and ASIC knowledge Strong understanding of Australian tax and accounting cycles, lodgement due dates and entity structures Proficient with MYOB AE, CAS360, ATOMate and Fusesign or similar Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to write professional client correspondence and liaise directly with the ATO Highly organised with strong attention to detail Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Ability to assist clients with MyID setup, Director ID applications, RAM linking, and ATO portal nominations Perks & Benefits – What's in It for You?
