Flexible shifts available with strong pathway to permanent part-time role Join a growing team supporting NDIS participants Work in a supportive, values-driven care team We are currently seeking experienced Male Disability Support Workers to join our team in Armstrong Creek (Geelong, VIC) . Multiple shifts are available within a Supported Independent Living (SIL) setting, including day, afternoon, and passive night shifts. This role offers strong potential to convert into a permanent part-time position for the right candidate who demonstrates consistency, reliability, and strong alignment with participant support needs. You will provide person-centred, strengths-based supports to assist participants to live safely and independently, in line with NDIS plans, behaviour support plans, and organisational requirements. Key responsibilities include: Personal care with dignity, respect, and consent Community access and social inclusion support Assistance with daily living and household tasks Implementation of positive behaviour support strategies Supporting participants with complex needs, including Epilepsy Accurate documentation and reporting in line with NDIS requirements About you: Experience in SIL environments Experience supporting individuals with Behaviours of Concern Experience supporting male participants with complex support needs Confident in personal care and high-intensity supports Strong communication and documentation skills Calm, consistent, and professional under pressure Commitment to dignity, choice, and participant rights Essential requirements: Current First Aid Certificate NDIS Worker Screening Check Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee) Valid Australian Driver’s Licence Comprehensive car insurance Availability across day, afternoon, and passive night shifts (including weekends where required) SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (Mon–Fri, finishes 8pm–12am): $38.67 Active night shift (starts before 6am or finishes after midnight): $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 If you are passionate about delivering safe, respectful, and high-quality disability supports, we would love to hear from you.
