The Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and creative team at the Catholic Education Office, who are passionate about enhancing Catholic Identity, within our schools across South Australia. In this role, you will interpret the needs of families, craft new ways of engaging with families and provide support for their engagement with a suite of resources. You will collaborate with and support parishes and schools in their work together, especially in the sacramental program. This role will offer a rewarding and creative space for you to provide a transformative expression of Catholic Identity and Mission, in the lived experiences of family life within Catholic schools. Key Responsibilities: Enhancing the religious dimension of Catholic schools in South Australia, including working with and supporting school leaders in regional clusters to strategically discern the strengthening of the Catholic identity and mission of the school. Developing curriculum support processes and materials for the Religious Education learning area and/or student faith formation in Catholic schools in South Australia in strategic partnership with schools. Supporting and leading quality staff professional learning and formation processes in areas which may include Religious Education, Catholic school religious identity and mission, ecological conversion and Christian spirituality. Supporting APRIMs and other designated religious leaders in their roles, and contributing to the Catholic Identity & Mission Section’s APRIM related services (e.g. appointment process and mentoring); Assessing school and teacher needs and responding with sustained diligence and creativity. About You Hold a current teacher’s registration and theological qualifications at a Master’s level. Have a fresh set of eyes to re-imagine how our Catholic Schools express mission and engage our communities, in the formation and support of families. Have a passion for providing professional learning for the formation and growth of expertise in Catholic Education South Australia. Be dialogical, relational and driven by a desire to create resources, experiences and environments in ways that are strategic, practical and collaborative.
