AWE is currently seeking experienced Drill Fitters for multiple opportunities across Queensland. Whether you prefer the pace of breakdown work or structured maintenance, we’ve got options to match. Responsibilities: Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on drill rigs. Diagnose faults and carry out timely breakdown repairs to minimise downtime Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and OEM documentation Identify and report potential issues or improvements to equipment performance What’s on Offer Various Rosters Available Ongoing and long-term opportunities with Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients Competitive hourly rates (up to $105/hr depending on experience) Exposure to leading OEM equipment (CAT, Sandvik, Epiroc) To be considered, you must hold the following: Current Australian Driver’s Licence. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience with mining & heavy equipment. Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant). Ability to pass full pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening.
