We require motivated Trades Assistant to join our expanding facility. About the Role In this hands-on role, you will assist with a range of workshop duties to support our tradespeople in their day-to-day tasks. Working under direction, you’ll help ensure jobs are completed efficiently by preparing materials, handling components, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a busy workshop environment and build practical skills. Job Task and Responsibilities · Assist tradespeople with general workshop tasks as directed · Prepare, handle, and move materials and components · Operate workshop equipment (including forklifts/cranes where licensed) · Assist with loading/unloading and manual handling · Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace · Follow all company Quality and Safety procedures Skills and Experience · Previous Trades Assistant experience (desirable) · Experience operating a metal band saw (desirable) · Any experience working with Chrome is (highly desirable) · High Risk Work Licence – Forklift and/or Overhead Crane (essential) · Ability to follow instructions and work in a team · Commitment to safety and quality standards · Current driver’s licence and reliable transport · Strong work ethic and flexible attitude · Ability to work unsupervised when required Job benefits and perks We're proud to offer our team member a supportive and rewarding work environment.
