About the Role We are currently seeking a Tram Service Technician (Mechanical) to join our Rolling Stock Maintenance team. The Tram Service Technician (Mechanical) is responsible for carrying out the mechanical maintenance, modification, repair, servicing and inspection requirements regarding the tram vehicle fleet and associated plant and vehicles. Key Responsibilities Ensuring a safe and reliable public transport service. Efficiently and effectively provide preventative and corrective maintenance to trams. Perform preventative maintenance services for mechanical equipment. Identifying, diagnosing and reporting maintenance issues in relation to plant, equipment and accessories. Making recommendations for improvements on systems and processes associated with mechanical systems. Checking, assessing, repairing plant and equipment as determined necessary.
