As a result, we are on the lookout for talented individuals with experience in the vehicle repair industry. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Inspects and repairs mechanical and electrical faults in all vehicles on a regular basis Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes, lubrication, steering mechanisms Interprets computer diagnostic test results accurately Write detailed inspection reports and repair plans to achieve roadworthies Train and mentor trainees and apprentices Collaborate with other mechanics in dismantling and reassembly of engines and parts. Submission of reports and plans for approval to customers Advice on repair options and costs to customers Test drives to ensure the vehicle runs correctly and ensure vehicle compliance with pollution regulations Safe use of electricity, machinery, and hand tools Compliance with all rules and standards of the motor vehicle repair shop Adherence to health and safety regulations YOU SHOULD DEMONSTRATE: Previous experience as a Mechanic Appropriate trade certification (cert iii) in relevant automotive field A background in vehicle maintenance Be a quick thinker Enjoy problem solving and the discovery of solutions to challenges Good time management, organisation, and collaboration capability Have a high degree of integrity Understanding health and safety regulations An ability to build rapport with clients Strong customer service skills An ability to mentor and coach This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced mechanic who wants to help a high-tech company realise its full potential.
