Join us as a Pump Technician and make it happen! About the opportunity As our Pump Technician, you’ll be responsible for stripping, assessing and rebuilding our range of submersible pumps. We’re looking for a mechanically minded technician with a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a great work ethic. There is the potential for significant career growth within this position for the right candidate with clear and exciting pathways for advancement. You’ll make an impact by: Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues and proposing effective solutions Delivering pump solutions to a diverse range of clients Hands-on disassembling, repairing and reassembling pumps to ensure they are in optimal working condition Documenting maintenance activities and creating reports for future reference What you’ll bring To succeed in this role, you’ll have: A mechanical trade qualification Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering A valid South Australia driver licence (or be willing to obtain one) Have current Australian working rights It’s not a deal breaker, but we’d also love to see some of the following: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience working with pumps (or the adaptability and willingness to learn) A commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and organised workplace A Forklift Ticket Restricted electrical licence or electrical trade qualification Why PumpEng?
