Working across a diverse range of civil infrastructure projects — including roads, subdivisions, drainage, water, sewer, council works and DIT infrastructure — you will play a key role in securing strategically important projects and contributing to the continued growth of the business. Responsibilities As an Estimator / Senior Estimator , you will be responsible for: Leading the preparation, formulation and submission of competitive tenders Developing subcontractor work packages and reviewing submissions Managing risk, compliance and commercial requirements throughout the tender process Coordinating tender handovers with the Construction team Maintaining strong industry and client relationships Providing guidance, mentoring and technical support to junior estimators (Senior Estimator level) Staying current with industry standards, market conditions and pricing trends Supporting tender negotiations and post‑tender clarifications Background & Qualifications To be successful, you will bring: 5 years (Estimator) or 10 years (Senior Estimator) experience in the civil construction industry A blend of delivery and estimating experience (highly regarded) Strong first‑principles estimating capability Solid understanding of local market conditions to maximise commercial outcomes Experience using Expert Estimation or CATS (desirable) Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills A commitment to accuracy, quality and collaborative working Apply For a confidential discussion, please contact Leigh Rowbottom at Talent Associates on 1300 363 or submit your resume by clicking Apply Now.
