An opportunity has become available for an experienced and commercially focused State Manager (Queensland) to join our leadership team. About the Role Reporting to the Regional Director, this role is responsible for overseeing and driving the overall sales, operational, warehousing, and distribution performance within Queensland. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced manager who can successfully balance commercial outcomes, customer service, operational efficiency, and people leadership in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Sales & Commercial Performance Drive sales growth, profitability, and market share across the region Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders Identify and secure new business opportunities while growing existing accounts Lead and motivate the Sales Team to achieve business objectives Monitor market activity and competitor trends Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning Operations & Logistics Oversee warehousing and distribution functions to ensure customer delivery expectations are met Manage transport and logistics operations to maximise efficiency and control costs Ensure stock management, inventory control, and warehouse procedures are maintained effectively Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve operational performance and customer outcomes Ensure workplace safety and compliance standards are maintained Leadership & Team Management Lead, coach, and develop sales, warehouse, and operational teams Recruit, mentor, and performance manage employees where required Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing workplace culture Promote continuous improvement across all business functions About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess: Proven experience in a senior management, operations, or state management role Strong commercial and operational acumen Experience within wholesale distribution, logistics, manufacturing, industrial products, automotive, battery, or power solutions industries will be highly regarded Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and operational performance Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities What’s on Offer Senior leadership opportunity within a stable and growing business Attractive remuneration package Supportive and collaborative leadership environment Long-term career opportunity with an established organisation Opportunity to work with an established customer base and recognised products within the market If you are an experienced leader looking for your next challenge, we encourage you to apply.
