The Opportunity As a Cabinet Maker in our completions team, you will play a critical role in the final stage of our manufacturing process - ensuring cabinetry is finished, correctly assembled, and prepared to the highest standard before dispatch and installation. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail directly impacts customer satisfaction, site installation efficiency, and the overall quality reputation of the Farquhar Group. What You’ll Be Doing Completing final assembly and finishing of cabinetry components , ensuring all units meet specification and design requirements Performing quality corrections and refinements including adjustments, rework, and final fit-off preparation Interpreting job sheets, drawings, and production instructions accurately Inspecting completed cabinetry for alignment, finish quality, structural integrity, and hardware compliance Ensuring all products meet strict internal quality standards prior to dispatch Supporting continuous improvement by identifying defects, production issues, and efficiency opportunities Working collaboratively with production, machining, and dispatch teams to maintain workflow and deadlines Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in line with OHS requirements What We’re Looking For Trade qualification in Cabinet Making (or equivalent experience in cabinetry manufacturing) Strong experience in cabinet assembly, completions, or joinery fit-off environments High attention to detail and pride in producing premium-quality workmanship Confident use of hand tools and experience with cabinet-making machinery Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production schedules A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a strong “right first time” approach Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements Your Strengths Will Include Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment Strong problem-solving skills when identifying and correcting defects Ability to manage workload efficiently while maintaining quality standards Strong communication and teamwork skills within a production setting Why Join Us?
