We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Freight Scheduler to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling and dispatch of freight shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery. You will work closely with carriers, drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to manage daily freight movements and resolve any issues that arise. Key Responsibilities: Schedule and dispatch freight shipments based on delivery timelines and customer requirements Communicate with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to coordinate load details Monitor shipment status and provide real-time updates Maintain accurate records of freight schedules, delivery times, and carrier performance Address delays or issues proactively and implement solutions Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies Optimize freight routes to reduce costs and improve efficiency Requirements: Previous experience in freight scheduling, logistics, or transportation preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with freight management systems and dispatch software Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Knowledge of transportation regulations is a plus Why Join Us?
