About this Opportunity We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis based at Wingfield, South Australia. This role will be responsible for coordinating inbound logistics, monitoring transport performance and costs, maintaining system integrity, and supporting broader procurement and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate all incoming freight (domestic and international), ensuring efficient receipting and scheduling of international consignments Track shipments end-to-end, proactively resolving delivery issues to minimise delays and service disruptions Ensure all required shipping and customs documentation is available and accurate to avoid port or clearance delay Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure smooth loading, unloading, and dispatch activities Liaise with freight forwarders and Group Logistics to secure competitive inbound freight rates Monitor and analyse freight spend, carrier performance, and distribution costs monthly Provide support to the purchasing team during periods of absence to ensure business continuity About You We are seeking a confident, self driven professional who can operate autonomously and deliver results. To be successful in this role, you will bring the following experience and capabilities: Proven experience in freight coordination, logistics, or supply chain operations (domestic and international) Strong understanding of inbound logistics processes, freight forwarding, and shipping documentation Experience working with ERP systems (Navision experience highly regarded) and logistics-related IT tools Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess freight spend, carrier performance, and service levels Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities concurrently A continuous improvement focus, with a clear understanding of cost control and service optimisation This is an exciting career opportunity for an individual looking to join a successful global business.
