Who you'll be working with Our clients are infants, children, and young people with disabilities — supported from birth right through to young adulthood. Your caseload will span the full richness of paediatric OT: self-care and independence, assistive technology, hand function, play and leisure, school and learning tasks, and transition to adulthood. No two days look the same. What your career at Kids looks like The work itself Mostly clinic-based, with some community and home visits to keep things varied A genuinely diverse caseload with access to sector-leading facilities and equipment Laptop, phone, and a well-resourced office provided, plus an IT team when you need them A dedicated admin team handling calls, bookings, payments, and NDIS support so you can focus on your clients Your growth A dedicated mentor from day one, plus weekly supervision with your Team Leader or Clinical Supervisor Fortnightly Think Tanks — structured caseload discussions designed for shared learning across the team Monthly team meetings and quarterly development days for PD and team building Opportunities to get involved in research and projects Full NDIS induction and shadow sessions to set you up for success The culture A genuinely inclusive, supportive team who look out for each other Transparent management that communicates openly and takes wellbeing seriously Regular social activities - because a team that enjoys each other does better work The perks Above award salary super 6 weeks annual leave NFP salary packaging (more take-home pay) Travel allowance 1pm finish every Friday — every week, not just sometimes About the role Reporting to a Team Leader, you'll: Deliver family-centred therapy as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team Assess functional skills and develop individualised therapy plans Run individual and group sessions focused on communication, participation, and independence Prescribe and support assistive technology and equipment Work across clinic, home, and community settings Keep clinical documentation accurate and timely Be a genuine contributor to team culture About you You'll need: A degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration Unrestricted Australian working rights A current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Check, and Police Check (NDIS Worker Check required before start date) A current driver's licence You're also someone who: Thrives in a team and genuinely enjoys collaborating Has a growth mindset — you ask questions and embrace feedback Communicates with warmth, clarity, and empathy Is organised, adaptable, and takes quality seriously Paediatric experience is a bonus, not a barrier — comprehensive training is provided for those new to the field.
