About the role We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Male and Female Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centered support to our Male and Female NDIS clients in the North Geelong and Bellarine areas. We are seeking a support worker who will build strong rapport and bring consistency. You’ll provide disability and social support; helping them live with dignity, independence, and joy. Please note: These preferences are based on the participant’s individual needs, in line with the comfort, support requirements and the participant’s right to Choice and Control under the NDIS. Main responsibilities and activities may include : Provide a high quality and timely care support to the client as directed by Home Caring, and in accordance with his care plan. Safely transport the client using your own Vehicle ( own vehicle essential ) Support client in getting out for social engagement, activities and in attending appointments. Provide personal care and daily living (domestic) assistance. Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation.) Document service activities that support service outcomes. Support participant in achieving individual NDIS goals. Maintain accurate documentation (including reporting) and shift notes. Requirements: Professional experience in the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors. Min 1 year experience and Cert 3 as a minimum requirement Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances Fluent in English and Vietnamese (spoken) Multiple languages but fluent in English NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with children Check Current First Aid certificate and current CPR certificate Current Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle- full compressive insurance The right to work in Australia Availability for minimum of 12 hours/ week
