job description Purpose of role Immediate start required. Located in Geelong area. We are a family-owned Precast Panel manufacturing business, with around 20 tradespeople. Office hours are Mon-Sat as standard. Client liaising through a project from start to finish. Complete BOQ’s/estimating for tendering purposes. Role: Estimating and tender submissions Follow up on tenders submitted Document control and shop drawing reviews Pricing and assessing variations General administration duties Scheduling of steelwork The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company. Qualifications/Experience Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Project Management would be advantageous 5 years industry experience doing similar work Previous experience Aconex/Procore advantageous Understanding of construction documentation Understanding of construction estimating process Excellent time management and organisational skills Strong communication skills both verbal and written Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office programs Hold a Construction Industry White Card Skills & competencies Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face to face. Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely , varying communication style depending upon the audience.
